Soaring Squadron: Skyranger Ch47: FrankenWolf

Our heroes had gone down to the surface one day. When they got there, they noticed all sorts of pumpkins, scarecrows, and candy all over the place.

Jeff: Hmmm. I wonder what this could be all about?

Austin: I've noticed that the kids are getting these costumes from the stores.

Dina: I wonder what that could be about?

Reggie: We could ask them.

Austin went up to the other kids.

Austin: Excuse me, but why are you getting those costumes.

Fox Boy: They're our Halloween costumes.

Marcus: Halloween?

Jeff: Excuse us, but, we don't celebrate this Halloween where we come from.

Tiffany: Do you mind telling us what happens on Halloween?

Rabbit Boy: We dress into these costumes at night on October 31st, then we go around people's houses and get candy from different people's houses.

Dina: Get candy from different people's houses? Wouldn't that be stealing?

Giraffe Girl: No. The people give us the candy. We knock at their door, they open up, and then we go, "Trick or Treat", then they give us candy.

Reggie: OK. Sounds fair.

Austin: How many houses do you go to?

Tiger Boy: It depends on how many houses we can get to.

Dina: I think we need to bring Halloween to Cloudnoia.

Jeff: That sounds like a good idea. But where will we find costumes for the kids?

Crocodile Girl: Sometimes, we make our own costumes.

Reggie: Hmmm. That sounds easy.

The troubling thing is, Austin wasn't sure what he was going to go as. When they got back to Cloudnoia, they told the people about Halloween.

Headmaster: Hmmm. Well, I guess it would be a good idea to go this Trick-or-Treating in Cloudnoia, if anybody else agreed to it. They also agreed on a Halloween party at the Cloudnoia Library.

They made the announcement and everybody agreed to have Halloween in Cloudnoia. Even our heroes decided to dress up for this occasion. On Halloween, Jeff dressed up as a cowboy, Dina dressed up as a fairy, Reggie dressed up as a scuba diver, Tiffany dressed up as a tree, and Marcus dressed up as an astronaut. As our heroes were dressing up, the panther siblings came in.

Kenneth: Ah, I see you guys are getting dressed for Halloween. I remember getting dressed for Halloween every year when I was a kid.

Abby: I only remember one Halloween before Lizahim captured me.

Austin: Maybe for Halloween this year, you could dress up as Panthina again, Abby.

Abby: No way am I doing that. I've had enough of that suit. I'm going to come up with something better.

Austin: I'm trying to come up with a costume, too. But I'm not sure what to come up with.

Kenneth: I'm sure you two will come up with something.

Abby: What about you, Kenneth?

Kenneth: I think I'll just go as the Avenger Knight. It's the only costume I have anyway.

Austin: But you wear that every time we go and fight Bananabeard's monsters.

Abby: Not to mention that you've been wearing that armor for the past number of years.

Dina: Plus, we never saw you outside the suit until you found Abby.

Kenneth: I know, but I can't think of any other costume.

Then, Owen came in in a robot costume.

Marcus: What are you going as, Owen?

Owen: I'm going to go as a robot.

Dina: A robot?

Owen: Yeah. I think they're pretty fascinating.

Then, the Headmaster showed up.

Headmaster: I know you're all excited for this party, but there's some trouble happening on the surface.

Dina: Oh great. What is it, Dad?

Headmaster: Bananabeard sent down another monster. You better go and take care of it.

Jeff: Right. Let's go, guys.

And the six of them headed out, Kenneth however stayed behind.

Kenneth: You know, Abby, maybe we could take a look through some of these books to see if there are any good ideas for costumes you could try.

Headmaster: There aren't any books regarding costumes here, Kenneth. Maybe you should try going to the surface. Just, not in the city where the monster is.

Kenneth: Do you want to do that, Abby?

Abby: Well, it will be good to see the surface again. Alright.

And they two of them headed out. Down on the surface, our heroes made their way to the park in the city they were sent to.

Jeff: Be on the look out guys, this monster could be any place.

Dina: Like over there? (Points to a green-colored wolf that looks like Frankenstein's Monster)

Reggie: Are you sure that isn't just some guy in a costume?

(The monster sees them and goes over to attack)

Jeff: I think it is actually a monster. Quick, transform!

(They all transform as the monster got closer)

FrankenWolf: Rar! (Attacks the Skyrangers, and they attack back)

Jeff: Blade Tonfas (Throws them at FrankenWolf)

FrankenWolf: (Gets hit by them) Argh! (Pulls the bolts from his neck to reveal chains)

Marcus: Whoa. That is creepy!

FrankenWolf: (Wraps the chains around them and then roars at them. A gas comes out of his mouth, causing the rangers to cough)

(The rangers get released from the chains and fall to the floor)

Jeff: Oh man. That really was bad. You should take a mint!

FrankenWolf: GGGRRRRR! (Throws a bolt at them, but Jeff grabs it, but is thrown into the air)

Jeff: Whoa!

Others: Jeff!

Jeff: Get me down from here. (Gets thrown) GAAAH! (Falls into the bushes)

Others: Jeff! (Runs over to the bushes)

Dina: Jeff, are you alright?

Jeff: (Climbs out of the bush) Ugh. I'm OK. Just a bit bruised. (Gets a hand out of the bushes) That monster really knows how to swing.

Up in Bananabeard's ship...

Bananabeard: That FrankenWolf was a generous idea, Primius.

Primius: Hey, it is Halloween, so I guess it's fitting.

Bananabeard: It's what now?

Primius: Never mind.

Bananabeard: The way he made the red Skyranger get thrown into the air was quite funny. I think FrankenWolf should do the same to the rest of the monsters, too. Hehehehe.

(Over in that room with the glow)

???: (Sighs) How much more can this go on?

Meanwhile in another city, Kenneth and Abby were searching for ideas for a costume.

Kenneth: I'm sure the right costume for you is around here, somewhere.

Abby: I just am not sure we'll find something fitting for me.

Kenneth: Let's check out the store here.

Abby: OK.

And they headed on into the store.

Kenneth: I'm sure we'll find a suiting costume for you here. Look, there's the costume aisle.

(They headed over to the costume aisle)

Kenneth: I'm sure there's a fitting costume for you around here.

Abby: (Takes a look) Hmmm. Maybe I will find something good.

Back with the Skyrangers, they were still dealing with FrankenWolf. They tried all their weapons to attack, but nothing seemed to work.

Tiffany: This monster just seems like we're no match for him.

Jeff: We cannot loose hope. I refuse to believe this monster is unbeatable.

Reggie: Well, how can we beat him? He just uses those chains, blows this bad breath, and throws us into the air.

Marcus: Like with any monster, there's a weak spot.

Dina: We just need to figure out what it is.

Jeff: Let's combine our weapons together and see if that will work.

(They combined their weapons together)

Jeff: Alright, let's aim,

FrankenWolf: Roar!

Jeff: and....

All: Fire! (They blast FrankenWolf, but nothing's happened)

Jeff: What? That didn't work?

FrankenWolf: Roar! (Throws a bolt chain at them again, but Tiffany knocks it back with her sword, causing the monster to groan in pain) ARGH!

Jeff: Wait, what did you just do?

Tiffany: I don't know. I just hit the bolt with my sword and he groaned in pain?

Jeff: That must be the weak spot. Let's all aim to cut the chains.

But then, Bananabeard's ship came in.

Bananabeard: See if you can do that with him giant sized. (Releases a storm cloud to make the monster grow)

Jeff: Oh dear. Not good. Bird Guardians!

(The Bird Guardians showed up and they formed Sky Flyer King)

Jeff: Alright. Remember, the chains appear to be the weak spot.

Sky Flyer King waited for FrankenWolf to release his chains again, but for a while, he didn't.

Reggie: What? He's not doing anything?

Tiffany: Maybe he's making a plan?

Dina: Or maybe he knows our plan.

Back with the panther siblings, Abby finally came up with a costume. She was going to go as a cheerleader in light blue. (She isn't wearing the costume yet)

Kenneth: I think that costume will be great, Abby.

Abby: I think so, too.

They went and bought the costume, then they headed out to the Avenging Hydra Dragon.

Kenneth: Alright, Hydra Dragon, let's head back to Cloudnoia.

AHD: Hold on, Kenneth. I sense that the Skyrangers are in danger. We should go to the city where they are at.

Kenneth: Can't we get Abby back to Cloudnoia first?

AHD: There isn't time. We must go quickly.

Kenneth: Well, alright.

And they headed off to the city where the Skyrangers were at. By this time, it was already sunset and FrankenWolf still had not moved.

FrankenWolf: GRRRRRR! (Decides to go and attack)

Jeff: Whoa. Looks like he's ready to fight now.

The battle started between the Skyrangers and FrankenWolf. (Orange Bird Guardians uses his wings to hold down FrankenWolf, but it doesn't work as FrankenWolf gets free)

Reggie: We need to get FrankenWolf to let those bolts out.

Jeff: (Looks at the bolts) Maybe we don't have to, we could attack the bolts right where they are.

Dina: What? Attack at it's neck?

Jeff: It might be our only chance. Let's do that. (Presses the button for the sword to appear)

Sky Flyer King: (Attacks the bolt with the sword)

FrankenWolf: ARGH!

Sky Flyer King: (Grabs a bolt and pulls it out, then attacked the chain with the sword, cutting it off)

FrankenWolf: ARGH!

Jeff: Now the other side.

FrankenWolf: (Releases the chain and wraps Sky Flyer King up into the air)

Jeff: Oh dear. Let's try to attack the chain.

(But Sky Flyer King then drops the sword to the ground)

Jeff: Oh no. We dropped it.

FrankenWolf: Hahahaha!

(The chain then is cut off, making FrankenWolf drop Sky Flyer King, it turned out to be the Avenging Hydra Dragon in Warrior Mode)

Kenneth: Hey everyone.

All: Kenneth!

FrankenWolf: (Moans)

Jeff: The chains have both been destroyed. Let's form the Avenging Ultra Sky Flyer King to take him down. (They form the combination) Ready....

All: Fire!

(Avenging Ultra Sky Flyer King makes the attack and FrankenWolf falls to the ground and explodes)

Jeff: We did it.

The Skyrangers made it back to Cloudnoia before night had fallen.

Jeff: Wow. That was some battle today.

Dina: I sure am glad we're now celebrating this Halloween party.

Kenneth: It's good to know that Abby found a costume she liked and that she is now Trick-or-Treating with Austin.

Jeff: It's a good thing that monster today gave Austin a great idea for a costume.

Marcus: I sure hope they get back here soon. I want them to join in for the party.

Then, they did come back.

Austin: Hey guys.

Abby: Mind if we join in?

Tiffany: Sure. Come on in.

Dina: So did you get a lot of treats?

Austin: We sure did.

Abby: I had forgotten about how much fun this was doing this. Shame I only have one Halloween in my memory from my childhood. Do you remember anything else Kenneth?

Kenneth: I don't. It's just been so long. I tend to forget some things. Especially when worrying about you.

Well, it seems another holiday that was previously not celebrated has now been brought to Cloudnoia. Happy Halloween, Skyrangers.
