Woodland Squadron Foresger Ch42: Capsule Trapped

One day, our heroes were by the river. They were cleaning up after a storm had gone through, but not as big a storm as Heather predicted there would be in the last chapter, and I'm not talking about the monster either.

Bernard: Well this storm wasn't a big as what Heather thought we'd get.

Ron: (Laughs a bit) But it certainly made a huge mess of the place.

Natasha: It is bad enough that people leave trash all over the place, but the weather doing it is worse since nobody can control that. No law anyone can make can stop the weather from doing any damage.

Heather: Wouldn't it be great if it did? Or if we could choose what weather we wanted? I wouldn't certainly like to be able to have there be snow whenever I wanted to, especially in the summertime when it is very very hot.

Bob: Maybe someday we'll come up with something that let's us do that. But until then, we'll have to deal with whatever weather mother nature sends to us.

Then, Bob noticed something.

Bob: What's this?

The others went over and saw him put his paw into the river and pull out a sort of action figure.

Bob: What's this doing here?

Bernard: It looks like some kid lost their toy here.

Ron: But who?

Natasha: Well, whomever it belongs to, I'm sure the Lost and Found can help to determine as to whom it belongs to.

Bob: Right. I'll take it there right away.

And Bob went on his way back to the Nature Center to put the toy into the Lost and Found box. Meanwhile up at Poluton's Castle, he just got an idea for his next monster.

Poluton: With this old toy from my childhood, I should be able to make a monster that can trap people inside it's capsules.

He then took it to Dr. Quill and told him to bring the monster to life.

Poluton: Dr. Quill, today, I want you to turn this toy into a monster.

Dr. Quill: But sire, isn't that your favorite toy from your childhood?

Poluton: It is indeed, but I want it to come to life now. It was something I had wished it could do since I was a little kid.

Dr. Quill: Alright. I'll do it.

So Dr. Quill put the toy into his monster making machine and it turned into...

Capsule Trapper!

Capsule Trapper: I'm here, Poluton. Ready to be of service to you.

Poluton: Very good, Capsule Trapper. I need you to go down and trap people in your little capsule containers and store them inside your body.

Capsule Trapper: Yes, sire.

And Capsule Trapper went off.

Poluton: With Capsule Trapper trapping the people of earth, there will be nothing to get in my way of taking over.

Down at the Nature Center, Bob arrived to see a moose mother and her kid at the Lost and Found.

Moose Mother: I'm sorry, Billy. But it doesn't seem to be here.

Billy: I guess you're right, Mom. Let's just go.

Bob: Excuse me, ma'am. Did you lose anything?

Moose Mother: Billy lost his favorite action figure today and we thought it would be found in the Lost and Found.

Bob: Oh. Well, I found an action figure in the river today and I was just on my way to put it in the Lost and Found.

Moose Mother: May we see it?

Bob: Sure.

Bob showed them the action figure, and Billy was over joyed.

Billy: That's it!

He ran over and grabbed it from Bob.

Billy: Thank you so much, Mr. Bear.

Bob: Anytime.

Soon, Billy and his mother left, but at that moment, Bob got a call from Canis.

Canis: Everyone, Poluton is striking again.

Bob hurried in to see Canis.

Canis: Bob, where are the others?

Bob: I left them at the river when I found a lost toy. I was already here when you called. They should be on their way.

And they soon came in.

Ron: What's the call this time, Canis?

Canis: Poluton sent down a new monster in the park. This is the Capsule Trapper. You must be careful though, because it has the ability to trap people inside it's capsule containers. Even you.

Ron: Alright. We're on it. Let's go everyone.

They transformed and hurried to the park where Capsule Trapper was waiting.

Capsule Trapper: Welcome, Foresgers. It's so nice to see you because you'll never leave.

Ron: Oh really? We've been warned about you!

Heather: We'll take care of you before you trap any people.

Ron: Everyone, let's go and fight.

So they Foresgers began to battle Capsule Trapper. They used their fists to attack and kick him, but he kept standing no matter what they did.

Capsule Trapper: OK. Now I've had my fun. It's time for me to take my first victims.

Bernard: We won't let you. We'll protect whoever...

Natasha: Ah-hem?

Bernard: Whomever you try and trap.

Capsule Trapper: Oh yeah? Well you'll be needing to protect your own selves.

Capsule Trapper then let out four capsule containers and they sucked Ron, Bernard, Heather and Natasha in. Then the Capsules flew back into Capsule Trapper's body. Only Bob was left out in the open.

Bob: Hey, let my friends go.

Capsule Trapper: I'll let them out, Yellow Ranger, when you surrender to Emperor Poluton!

Bob: No way. I'll never surrender to evil.

Just then, Edward flew in, already morphed. He flew in and hit Capsule Trapper.

Capsule Trapper: ARGH! Another one?

Bob: Edward!

Edward: Are you alright, Bob?

Bob: I'm fine, but he captured the others.

Edward: He did?

Capsule Trapper: I did, but don't worry, I'll give you time to try and stop me. But I won't toy with you for long. For right now, I have other victims to capture.

And he disappeared.

Bob: Oh man. He got away.

Over at the Nature Center, Bob and Edward explained to Canis on what happened.

Bob: So he got everyone except me captured in his capsules and he's planning on doing the same to everyone else in the city.

Edward: And possibly to anyone else outside the city.

Canis: Well, let me see what I can find.

Canis then made his book appear and he looked inside.

Canis: Hmmm...It appears that a good way for Ron and the others to escape is if they can break the capsules they are trapped in.

Bob: How can they do that? I don't think they have their weapons with them?

Canis: No, but they do have each other.

Edward: Uh....So?

Canis: If they can get their fists as close to one another as possible, it might allow them to gain enough strength to break the capsules and free themselves and whomever else had been captured.

Bob: Right. But how can we get them to know without Capsule Trapper knowing what we're doing?

Canis: You may need to have yourselves get captured and they tell them from inside.

Edward: That's strange. I've never let a monster capture me before.

Bob: You did let a villain trick you into fighting us.

Edward: You had to bring that up, didn't you?

Bob: Sorry. Anyway. Let's go.

So they hurried back to the park, they had already morphed and came face-to-face with Capsule Trapper.

Capsule Trapper: So you've returned, Yellow and White Rangers?

Bob: Yes we did and we're willing to sacrifice ourselves.

Capsule Trapper: Really?

Edward: Yep. We've realized you're too much for us.

Capsule Trapper: Well, this is awkward. OK.

So Capsule Trapper let out two capsules and they sucked Bob and Edward inside them and then they were brought back into Capsule Trapper's body.

Bob: It worked. Now where are Ron and the others.

Ron: Bob, Edward,

Edward: Yes. It's us. And we're here to get everybody out.

Heather: How are you going to do that?

Bob: Canis told us we need to get our fists as close to each other's as possible. So let's do that.

Thankfully, Capsule Trapper didn't trap anybody else, so the Foresgers were all close enough together. They put their fists together and and energy of their own colors glowed.

Bob: Alright. Now we have enough power to break our way out. So let's punch these containers.

So they all started to punch the containers trapping them, and after a few hits, they cracked opened. Capsule Trapper noticed something happening inside him as the Foresgers all flew out.

Capsule Trapper: Huh? What happened?

Bob: I'll tell you what happened. We didn't sacrifice ourselves.

Edward: We tricked you into capturing us, so we could tell our friends how to get out.

Ron: Alright, everyone. Let's now put our weapons together and finish this.

They put their weapons together and blasted Capsule Trapper.

Poluton: Capsule Trapper, now it's time to grow!

Poluton's staff released it's energy and Capsule Trapper grew giant.

Ron: We must call for the Forest Beasts!

The original six Forest Beasts soon arrived and the core 5 formed ForesOh. ForesOh and Forest Eagle were ready to face Capsule Trapper.

Capsule Trapper: You may have escaped me, but I shall stop you anyway.

Ron: Oh yeah? Just try it.

Capsule Trapper ran towards them and Forest Eagle blocked his attacks. Then ForesOh came over and blocked a hit. Capsule Trapper then went back to Forest Eagle and gave him a few him. Forest Eagle then walked back and made a screech of anger. It then opened it's mouth and let out some energy blasts at Capsule Trapper.

Capsule Trapper: Argh. You'll pay for that.

ForesOh then got ready.

Ron: Time to call for the Forest Sword.

The Forest Sword appeared and ForesOh grabbed it.

Capsule Trapper: Uh oh.

Ron: You've had it, Capsule Trapper!

ForesOh then did it's finishing attack and Capsule Trapper fell down and was defeated.

Poluton: No. My favorite toy, destroyed by those pesky Foresgers!

Dr. Quill: I warned you, sire.

Poluton:

Later at the Nature Center...

Ron: Well, it was brave of you and Edward to trick Capsule Trapper into trapping you.

Bob: Hey, Canis told us what to do. He has the answer to just about every problem we have to face.

Bernard: Except when this will be finally over.

Edward: I'm sure we're getting closer to finally defeating Poluton. We just need to keep fighting until then. But for right now, let's just relax until Poluton's next monster attack.

And they all just laid down on the couches to relax.
