Woodland Squadron: Foresger Returns Part 2

Over at the nature center, everybody had gathered. Ron, Bernard, Bob, Heather, Natasha, Barry, Steve, Sophie, Canis, and their latest edition to the group, Spike Mew, the red fox.

Canis: My friends, this is quite a shocking reveal isn't it? Poluton, having a son that none of us knew about. And now he's come to your planet.

Barry: I guess I never told you guys about Toxo huh?

Steve: And why not, Barry?

Sophie: You used to work for Poluton, so you must have known that he had a son.

Steve: How come you never told any of us?

Barry: Guys, take it easy. I thought he was destroyed. When Canis sealed Poluton and his castle away on earth, I never saw Toxo come back. I assumed that the lunar wolves destroyed him. Looks like I was wrong.

Canis: Don't feel so bad, Barry. You didn't know.

Barry: Toxo at one time insisted to Poluton that I should be destroyed after I refused to help them conquer more planets, but Poluton said that in time, he would find a good enough punishment for me.

Spike: So, with Toxo now at the intent of taking over earth, what should we do?

Canis: The first thing we need to do is find a way to get to Poiso, so we can save my wife, Vulpes. I can't believe that she's still alive. I thought I was the only lunar wolf left.

Heather: The problem is, we don't even know where Poisio is.

Bob: Shame we don't have a map of the galaxy to find it.

Ron: Barry, since you were created by Poluton, you must know where it is, right?

Barry: Sorry guys. I don't know where Poisio is. In fact, I never saw Poisio. He and Toxo were already out in space by the time they created me. I was born out in space. I don't know how far from Poisio we were by that point.

Canis: What about Sting, Stinkbella, Dr. Quill, or Wormbreath?

Barry: Poluton created us all in space. None of us ever saw Poisio.

Sophie: Just out of curiosity, did Poluton have a wife? If he has a son, he must have had a wife.

Barry: I never saw any female human in Poluton's castle. Poluton and Toxo were the only ones I ever saw. Poluton never told me if he ever had a wife.

Steve: Now Sophie, how will that help us save Vulpes?

Sophie: I was just curious, brother.

Natasha: Wait, my dad is a robot expert. Remember, Canis?

Canis: How will that help us, Natasha?

Natasha: He could install a tracking device into Forest Wolf and help us get to Poisio. Poluton's castle is still on earth, so we could use that to help us get it's original location.

Ron: You mean before Poluton made it come off the ground?

Natasha: Yes.

Ron: Well, alright. But Natasha, there is something I need you to know.

Natasha: What is that?

Ron: You and I won't be able to participate on this rescue mission. What if the baby was born during the mission. It would be in danger then.

Natasha: Oh. I suppose you're right.

Edward: Ron, I can understand why Natasha can't go, but there's no reason why you can't go.

Ron: I need to be with Natasha when the baby is born. So I can't go on the mission.

Bernard: But Ron, without you, who will lead us?

Ron: Bob can do it. He's taken over from me before.

Bob: That is true.

Ron: So Bob will be the temporary leader in my absence.

Canis: Don't forget who the real guide of the team is.

Ron: Haven't forgotten, Canis.

So the Foresgers had gotten Natasha's dad, Jeremy Rabbit to come and help them out. They first went to Poluton's now empty castle where he had the tracking device ready.

Jeremy: Alright. The tracker is picking up it's location.

Heather: Do you think this will work?

Ron: Hey, if Natasha says it'll work, then I trust her.

Jeremy: Ah, here we go. The planet you're seeking is ten galaxies away.

Bernard: T-ten galaxies away?

Bob: But that will take us years.

Edward: Well, we can't let Vulpes down. She already spent 1,002 years prisoner, we can't let her suffer anymore.

Ron: Edward has a point.

Canis: You don't have to worry about the long travel. Forest Wolf can create vortex portals in space that lets us travel very far distances in space.

Edward: Ah. That's good.

Ron: Well, you guys better get going. I'll be a dad in a few hours. (Turns to Jeremy) And, Dad-in-law, you'll be a granddad.

Jeremy: What? Oh, of course. (Hands Canis the tracker) I wish you the best of luck, Mr. Wolf. And tell your wife I said "Hi".

Canis: Thank you very much, Mr. Rabbit. You are in my debt.

Jeremy:

So Bernard, Bob, Heather, Edward, Steve, Sophie, Barry, Canis, and even Spike got on board Forest Wolf. Canis got the tracker installed.

Natasha: Good luck, guys.

Heather: Thank you, Natasha. And good luck with the baby.

Natasha:

Natasha, her husband, and her father watched and Forest Wolf lifted into the air and went through the vortex portal.

Ron: Alright, Natasha. Let's get you to the hospital.

Jeremy: That's right. I'll be having a new grandchild soon.

Natasha: Alright, Ron. Alright, Dad.

And they headed off to the hospital. Later, Ron and Jeremy got Natasha to the hospital. She was resting in her bed there and Ron was sitting next to her.

Natasha: It's a shame we couldn't go on the rescue mission to Posio. It would be great to fight as a Foresger again.

Ron: Maybe once the baby is born, you just might be able to.

Jeremy: Actually, Ron, once the baby is born, it's going to need it's mother for a while.

Ron: Wait? Really?

Jeremy: It is quite a lot of responsibility when looking after a new born. In fact, I remember that when Natasha was first born,

(Flashbacks to when Natasha was a baby)

Jeremy VO: Natasha's mother and I had to play with her a lot. In fact, even as a baby, she would hope a lot too. We had to get anything breakable out of the way so that she couldn't hurt herself.

(Cuts back to the present day)

Jeremy: In fact, that same year, my brother, Jim had his second son, and he was just as jumpy as Natasha was.

Natasha: I guess that was why we were so close.

Jeremy: But at least you both claimed down as you got older.

Natasha: I wonder what our baby is going to look like. Is it going to look like a fox or a rabbit?

Ron: Maybe it'll be both. A mix between a fox and a rabbit.

Natasha: You know, I wonder. If Edward and Heather ever get married, what do you think their kid is going to look like?

Ron: Hmmmm.....

Over on Poisio, Spike Mew and the other 8 Foresgers were exploring the swamps of the planet.

Sophie: This place kind of looks like a giant skunk came through and stunk up the place.

Steve: Come on, Sophie. Skunks can produce that much stink.

Sophie: Maybe not on Earth, but this is another planet.

Canis: We should be on the look out for anything dangerous. Considering how nasty Poluton was, there's no telling what this planet might bring.

Bob: You know what this really looks like, it looks like what would have happened to earth if we hadn't stopped Poluton.

Bernard: Maybe Poluton was responsible for why the planet looks like this, too.

Heather: How do you know it didn't always look like this, Bernard?

Bernard: If Poluton destroyed other worlds, he might have destroyed this one, too.

Edward and Barry were flying up in the air to be on the look out.

Edward: Do you see anything, Barry?

Barry: (Lifts his sunglasses to look) Hmmmm. I don't see much of anything right now.

Edward: Not even Toxo's castle?

Barry: Nope. Guys, we don't know if Toxo's castle looks like Poluton's. It could like rather different.

Spike: How different could it be, Barry?

Barry: Well, Poluton always wore black, while Toxo wore light gray. We could be looking for a gray castle.

Suddenly, they felt the ground shake.

Steve: Wh-What's going on?

Heather: The gr-gr-ground's sh-sh-shaking.

Bernard: Wh-What's happening?

Then, out of the swamp water came a large one-eyed sea serpent. It gave a loud roar at our nine heroes.

Sophie: What is that thing?

Bob: Whatever it is, it doesn't look friendly.

Canis: I'll handle this.

Canis used his magic against the large creature, but it was very difficult.

Bernard: I think we should have brought our Forest Beasts along, too.

Bob: Canis, why couldn't we do that?

Canis: (As he struggles to fight the creature) Don't you...ugh....remember? Poluton managed to.....ugh....destroy the first....couple of....Forest Beasts.....ugh.....

Heather: Oh yeah. Forest Wolf told us that.

Edward: How does that concern the situation now, Canis?

Canis: This planet might....be....too much for....them.....(Gets knocked back)

The creature went over to Canis and got it's mouth open, ready to gobble Canis up...

Edward: Barry, quickly. Some vines.

Barry: Right.

Barry and Edward grabbed some vines and they pulled the vines through the creature's mouth, pulling it away from Canis.

Edward: How dare you try to make a meal out of Canis.

Barry: Canis, maybe you could destroy it by firing into it's mouth.

Canis: I don't know if that will work, Barry.

The creature was starting to struggle a bit from Barry and Edward pulling on it.

Edward: We might not have much choice. If these vines break, we could all be this creature's dinner.

Spike: Let me help. We can combine our powers together.

Canis: Good idea, Spike.

So Spike and Canis combined their magic together and fired into the creature's mouth. The creature moaned in pain from the blast. Then it fell down back into the water.

Spike: It worked.

Canis: Well done, Barry. Your idea worked. Anyway, while we may have Forest Wolf on the planet with us, I can't risk anything bad happening to him. So that's why he's staying where he is until we're ready to go back to Earth.

Prince Toxo was observing this from his castle, which was made up of a type of crystal.

Toxo: So, they survived the Swamp Worm? Well, they'll never make it through my army of Poluters. Poluters, go and attack.

And from the castle, an army of Poluters stormed out of the castle. Soon, the Poluters made their way to our heroes.

Bob: Oh no. Poluters.

Bernard: And there's so many of them.

Bob: Let's change.

All 8: Forest Changer!

Bernard: Blue Racoon, Bernard.

Bob: Yellow Bear, Bob.

Heather: Green Snake, Heather.

Edward: White Eagle, Edward.

Barry: Black Bat, Barry.

Steve: Orange Squirrel, Steve.

Sophie: Violet Skunk, Sophie.

Canis: Cyan Wolf, Canis.

Spike: And me, Spike Mew.

Bob: Woodland Squadron....

All: Foresger.

Canis: Alright, Poluters. Let's see how you deal with eight Foresgers.

All nine heroes changed for the Poluters and began to fight.

Heather: Ugh. These Poluters are so much stronger than the ones from before.

Sophie: Yeah. Ugh. How can we beat them?

Canis: We can't give up, Vulpes is counting on us.

They continued the fight for a good long while. Back on earth, it was night time and Ron and Jeremy decided to go down to the cafeteria place.

Ron: Are you sure Natasha's going to be alright on her own upstairs?

Jeremy: Don't worry about her, Ron. The nurse says that she needs some space as she starts to give birth, so we'll hang down here for a while.

Ron: I just hope our new baby likes us, and everybody at the Nature Center.

Jeremy: Why wouldn't they? The Nature Park is quite a nice place to visit. I'm proud that my daughter chose a good place to work.

Ron: You know, I am a bit curious about her relationship with her cousins. How did it go during childhood?

Jeremy: Well, Natasha was always closer to her cousin, Matthew because they were about the same age. She didn't spend a lot of time with her older cousin, Jack.

Ron: What was Jack like?

Jeremy: Well, Jack was focused on being a secret agent when he grew up, while Matt and Natasha were more focused on children stuff.

Ron: Natasha told me all about those nasty things that Jack had done after he supposingly retired.

Jeremy: Yeah. Jack was interested in capturing secret agents and draining their minds and sell them to villains.

Ron: That doesn't sound like a good thing to do. Thank goodness Natasha is nothing like him.

Jeremy: But don't forget that he was corrupted by this jewel he had in his pocket.

Ron: Right.
