Brandon: So, today’s episode is for Burst Dhole, the lightning elemental in the family.

Burst Dhole?

Brandon: The same Burst mentioned last episode.

Oh.

Brandon: Full disclosure, she’s kind of energetic.

Oh really? How much?

Brandon: You know how drinking caffeine makes you hyper?

Did she drink so much of it?

Brandon: She acts like that before she’s even had a drop.

So just looking at it excites her?

Brandon: No. Her hyperactivity isn’t fueled by coffee.

It's not?

Brandon: No. Caffeine makes her 10 times as hyper as the average caffeine drinker.

Oh.

(An orange blur rushes by)

Would that be her?

Brandon: Yeah.

She's moving too quickly.

(The blur stops to reveal an orange dhole with brown shoes, an orange skirt, orange martial arts belt, orange midriff top, brown arm pads, and a black headband with brown hair and pigtails standing on edge)

Hello there. Great to see you finally stopped.

Burst: (Asian accent) Hello.

Care to tell me about yourself?

Burst: Well, I hold the record of running all over Mobius 27 times in the blink of an eye (she buzzes and shocks herself).

Wow. Have you ever met with Sonic the Hedgehog?

Burst: By the time he feels me tapping his shoulder, I’m already two miles away.

But isn't he the fasted thing alive?

Burst: He was at one point. He has been very active in the last 8 years, so, it slowed him down.

And have you ever met his son?

Burst: He’s not much better. I ran 30 circles around him in the time it took him to blink.

As far as I know, they should run at the same speed.

Burst: At my full speed, I move so fast, everything looks like it’s standing still to me.

You can't seriously be telling us that you're the new fasted thing alive, can you be?

Burst: I never claimed that title because I never found anyone who could move as fast as me.

Or faster?

(She shakes her head)

Oh gee. How did you get to be so fast?

Burst: I’m a lightning elemental.

Oh. Lighting can move pretty fast, can't it?

(She nods)

So, what do you do for fun besides running?

Burst: Race in my Shock Cruiser and occasionally play pranks.

Oh. You're a prankster, huh?

(She nods)

Any particular pranks that you've done?

Burst: Well, there’s painting Brandon orange.

Painting Brandon orange?

Brandon: Don’t bring that up, Burst.

Burst: But it's funny. Ooh! But, not as funny as when I gave you cotton candy that turned out to be lint from my belly button!

Brandon: I haven’t been able to get that taste out of my mouth for weeks.

Alright. So any fun activities that you do together?

Burst: Not really.

Oh.

Brandon: She has familiars as well.

She does?

(She nods)

Like who?

Burst: There’s Electra, the Lightning Dragon.

Ah. Another dragon.

Burst: There’s also Sir Kit and Sir Jing, two Knightonians.

What species are they?

Brandon: The same species as Sir Finn.

Oh.

Burst: There’s also Sparky the Stag Beetle.

Does her name make any sense?

Burst: Sparky is male.

Sorry. I just assumed Sparky was female. Anyway, does HIS name make sense?

Burst: Why would you ask that?

Does he make sparks at all?

Burst: Electrical ones.

Thought so.

Burst: How about my vehicle?

Is it quite impressive?

Brandon: Would you like to see it?

Oh. Sure.

(It has a scorpion-like design)

Can that scorpion tail shoot energy?

Burst: And act as a lightning rod.

Clever.

Burst: Unfortunately, it has this defect.

What defect?

Burst: It frequently overloads.

Oh my.

Brandon: Sure, blame the vehicle. That’s original.

Perhaps you just need to fix the problem.

Brandon: One problem with that. Burst is the problem.

She is?

Brandon: She feeds her vehicle too much power.

Oh. Then she needs to do less of that.

Brandon: Easier said than done.

It's hard for her to do it, isn't it?

Brandon: Any electronic she uses needs 10 shock absorbers just to keep them from blowing up when she touches them.

Oh.

Brandon: Her element is more volatile than the others.

Hmmm. I see.

Brandon: She’s pretty dangerous.

I bet that the foes fear her, don't they?

Brandon: Especially since most of them are robots.

Say what?

Brandon: It’s a sacred law not to kill, remember?

I was speaking about most enemies being robots. Don't you have any organic foes?

Brandon: The Brickomaniac and his two goons.

That's it?

(He nods)

Oh....

Brandon: They take advantage of our law.

So anything else we can learn from Burst?

Burst: Well, I use a lot of energy (her belly growls).

And does it ever make you hungry?

Burst: Frequently.

Where do you often eat at?

Burst: I’m not picky.

Any particular place?

Burst: I literally just said I’m not picky.

Alright then. I just wondered if you had a favorite.

Burst: I like sugary things.

Wow. No wonder you are so energetic.

Brandon: The medical treatment on this island prevents diabetes.

Oh. That's good.

Brandon: Of course, there’s still common illnesses.

Ah.
