Title: The Pyro Punk

One morning at the arcade. Ash went up to the soldier game that Randy and William were playing.

Ash: You know, I think now I'll take a go at this game. I think I'll go with this one.

Kasumi: What class is that, Ash?

Ash: An engineer, I believe.

William: Good choice.

Ash: How good is he?

William: He can build things that help his team.

Ash: Build things? That is so cool. :D (Big Grin)

William: He has four things he can build, a sentry gun, a dispenser, a teleporter entrance, and a teleporter exit.

Felicia: A teleporter exit would come in handy in cornered situations.

William: The teleporter exit doesn’t work that way.

Others: It doesn't?

William: No. Both teleporters need each other to work.

Ash: Don't they both work no matter where they are?

William: What I meant is that you can’t use one without the other. Without the teleporter exit, the teleporter entrance won’t send you anywhere. The two teleporters are like a doorway. You have to go in one way to get out the other.

Ash: The exit always has to be somewhere, right?

William: Yes. And you can’t use the teleporter exit to get to the teleporter entrance.

Ash: Note taken.

William: Your best bet is to place both ends of the teleporter far away from each other. Also, you can only build one of each building.

Ash: Ah. Thanks for telling me.

William: Pro tip, don’t build them too close to each other or leave them in obvious spots.

Ash: Got it. I salute you! (A pyro burns Ash’s character) Ah! I'm on fire!

WIilliam: Quick, call the medic on your team! Press the E button!

Ash: Got it (Pushes E).

(The medic arrives and slowly heals Ash’s character)

Felicia: Whoa. That guy is healing him.

William: That’s pretty much the point of the medic class.

Ash's character was soon healed up.

William: You should start with a dispenser.

Ash: Dispenser. Hmmmm. What one is that?

William: Press 4 to access the PDA.

Ash: Um...Alright (Pushes 4).

William: Now, press 2 to select the dispenser.

Ash: (Presses 2)

Blueprints for the dispenser were then shown laying on the ground with an outline of the dispenser visible.

William: Now, choose where you want to put it.

Ash: Alright.

Ash looked around on the blueprints for a while.

William: When you see a place you want to put it, just click there.

Ash: Alright. I think I'll go...here (Clicks a spot and the dispenser is set up).

Ash: Alright. Now i can use the dispenser.

William: The rest of your team needs it, too.

Ash: Got it. How do I give it to them?

William: The teammates can just walk to it.

Ash: Oh.

Jake and Justin arrived at the arcade as usual to discuss their plans on discovering who the Gamermen really were. Jake still had the cast on his leg from kicking the mailbox, thinking that it was speaking, when really, Headbot dropped his head inside of it by accident. They knew now that it was Headbot they heard, but they still couldn't stop feeling silly for thinking the mailbox was really talking.

Justin: So how's that leg of yours, buddy?

Jake: It doesn't hurt as much as it did last week, but it still hurts when I try moving my toes.

Justin: So, any plans on the hidden camera trick?

Jake: Yeah. We just need to use this tiny camera to launch onto one of the Gamermen while they're fighting a monster.

Justin: Sounds like a clever little plan. I'll take care of it for you since you still have that cast on your leg.

Jake: Thank you, Justin. Just be on the look out for when they appear.

Across the room at the snack bar, there was a fox man that was reading a newspaper. He overheard Jake and Justin's plan.

Fox Man: So these two are planning on unmasking the Gamermen? I better do something about this.

Meanwhile, with the villains, Dr. Squeak was working on his next monster. This one was more mysterious than the others. Ninjakuma and Darktail were curious about what it could be.

Dr. Squeak: This is the next in the series of the military team monsters. The Pyro.

Ninjakuma: One of these monsters again?

Dr. Squeak: This monster isn’t made to attack the city or its inhabitants. It’s made to attack the Gamermen and strike fear into their hearts.

Darktail: Sounds impressive.

Ninjakuma: But will the boss agree?

Dr. Squeak: We’ll have to see.

Darktail: Will he be growable this time?

Dr. Squeak: No.

Darktail: Darn it!

Dr. Squeak: Growing giant feature or respawn generator. You can’t have both.

Ninjakuma: They why not throw the respawn generator out then? None of the other monsters need them, so why does this one?

The monster emerges and shoots Ninjakuma with a flare gun.

Ninjakuma: Ow!

The monster then intimidated him with its flamethrower.

Ninjakuma: AAAH!

Dr. Squeak: The respawn generator is to tire the Gamermen from fighting the same monster repeatedly.

Ninjakuma: Oh. Is that it?

Dr. Squeak:

Ninjakuma: I suppose that makes sense.

Darktail: I just hope the boss approves.

Gigalord: And I do (As he appears in the room).

Darktail: Oh, Boss.

Gigalord: I guess you have a point there, Dr. Squeak.

The Pyro makes slow, loud breathing noises.

Darktail: He's starting to breath heavily now. Is he alright?

Dr. Squeak: Actually, this monster’s gender is unknown. The breathing is just amplified by the mask.

Gigalord: So it's a genderless monster?

Dr. Squeak: That’s part of the mystery.

Gigalord: Ah. Well, whatever it is, send it down to battle the Gamermen.

At the arcade, Ash had just arrived at a large monster in the game.

Ash: Whoa. Look at that thing!

William: A bread monster.

Ash: Bread monster?

William: It’s a complicated story.

Ash: Can you eat it?

William: You can try if you’re eager to get crushed, suffer radiation poisoning, or get eaten yourself.

Ash: Then I guess eating-er, beating it is the best option.

William: It’s also easier said than done.

Ash began to engage in the battle.

Ash: Alright, you overgrown piece of wheat. Let's see what you got.

The monster used its tentacles to grab two of the teammates in the game and chews them up.

Ash: Oh no!

William: Yeah, that’s what happens if you’re not careful.

Then, the alarm goes off.

Kasumi: What's that about?

Randy: My uncle’s calling us.

Kasumi: Oh. That alarm. Sorry. I thought it was in the game. Sweating a little...

Ash: We better put the game on hold, then.

William exited out of the game, and they headed to see Jack.

Jack: Another monster appeared.

Vix: And...it's one of them again.

Jack: This one may be the most dangerous yet.

Ash: It's not killer bread, is it?

Vix: No, but, it’s just as frightening.

Felicia: I don't like the sound of that.

Vix: (Displays the Pyro) This is Pyro. The third of the series of monsters with Generator boxes.

Jack: It fights using a flamethrower, a flare gun, and a fire axe.

Headbot: Fiery circuits.

Vix: Fiery is right, Headbot.

Headbot: Hey, it's just my catchphrase.

Vix: This monster has a fire-proof suit.

Jack: This makes good sense since he'll need to be protected from his own fire.

Vix: Your armors can take the heat, but, only temporarily.

Randy: OK, Vix. We still better be well alerted.

In the city, the Pyro was torching a garden. The garden belonged to a cat lady.

Cat Lady: Hey! What are you doing to my garden?! Get out! (The Pyro ignores her and whistles while continuing) Hey! I said get out!

Pyro: (Threatens her with its flare gun)

Cat Lady: (Screams and runs away)

Pyro: (Continues while whistling, but is then sprayed by a hose, but nothing happened) What was that for? It was refreshing, anyway.

Randy: Darn it. I felt for sure that this would work.

William: I told you it wouldn't, Randy.

Pyro: (Draws its axe)

Ash: Got a plan B, Randy?

Randy: Try shooting the gas tank on his back!

William: Are you sure we want to shoot there?

Randy: I have a plan.

William: What sort of plan?

Randy: Trust me.

Everyone got their blasters ready. Aiming it at the gas tank.

Their blasts cause the Pyro to get launched into the air like a rocket.

Felicia: Whoa. Look at him go.

Kasumi: We better follow him and see where he lands.

When the Pyro landed, it broke its neck)

Pyro: AAAH! (Falls down lifeless)

The Gamermen then arrived.

Ash: Is...is he dead?

Randy: I don't think he's totally dead.

Kasumi: I’m not even sure that thing is a he.

(The Pyro disintegrates)

Ash: Why makes you say that, Kasumi?

Kasumi: Well, Vix used gender-neutral pronouns.

Felicia: So you're saying it's a genderless monster?

Kasumi: It’s possible.

Randy: Well whatever it is, we better be ready for when it rises again.

Vix: (Via communicator) Everyone, I located the respawn generator.

Randy: Great. Where is it?

Vix: Near the fire station.

Randy: Alright. Let's hurry to the fire station, guys.

Justin was nearby. He had the camera all ready.

Justin: Alright. Now to help get a scoop on who you guys really are.

He released the camera and it attached itself to Randy's helmet.

Justin: Now, when you're finished with that monster, you'll de-transform, and then when I get the camera back, Jake and I will know who you really are.

The fox man from before saw what Justin did, and he knew he had to do something about it. So he headed back to the arcade. At the fire station, the Gamermen had just arrived to find the Pyro's generator box.

Randy: OK. Here we are.

William: I'm wondering if it's inside or outside the shed?

Felicia: Let's hope outside.

Inside, the firefighters were fighting the Pyro’s flamethrower with their fire extinguishers.

Kasumi: Oh look who else is here.

Fire Fighter Dalmatian: It's the Gamermen. Help us.

The Gamermen got into the fight.

Kasumi: Get to safety, quickly.

Fire Fighters: I salute you! (Hurries off)

Meanwhile, at the arcade, the fox man showed back up.

Fox Man: Jack, I've seen the Gamermen fighting against the Pyro monster, and there's something bad that has happened.

Jack: Jeremy, I haven't seen you in a while.

Vix: Who is this Jeremy, Jack?

Jack: Jeremy's dad used to assist me and Dr. Squeak develop the Gamerman powers. He was in on what they could actually do.

Jeremy: And who is this fox lady here, Jack? Is she like your girlfriend?

Jack: What? Not quite actually. You see, Vix here is actually a robot. But not one that I created.

Vix: I came from Cyberspace, I chased after my brother, Gigalord, to try and prevent his plan on resurrecting our creator, Queen Vira. Cyberus, the king of Cyberspace, sealed her away in a chip, but Gigalord now has it and plans on bringing her back. That's why I came to Earth to try and prevent this from happening.

Headbot: So what is the matter, Jeremy? Did the monster defeat the Gamermen?

Jeremy: No, it has nothing to do with the monster, but rather about their identities. You see, that monkey boy from the school, he launched a camera onto Gamer Red's helmet in an attempt to find out who he really is?

Jack: That can't be good. What should we do?

Vix: Let's just focus on the monster matter right now. I don't like how the fire fighters are involved with this.

Vix: I'm quite worried how the fire fighters are being involved here.

Jack: This gives me an idea.

Headbot: What is it, Master Jack?

Jack: Fire fighter power ups.

Vix: Fire fighter power-ups?

Jack went over to the computer and began typing.

Headbot: What is this about a fire fighter power up?

Jack: You'll see.

Meanwhile, the Gamermen were being overwhelmed.

Randy: This is the toughest monster yet.

Kasumi: No kidding.

Just then, A red wisp flies in and disorients the Pyro briefly.

Pyro: What the?

(The wisp knocks it over and hovers in front of the Gamermen)

William: What is that thing?

(The wisp becomes a fire extinguisher with a dragon head-shaped nozzle)

Felicia: Whoa. Look at this thing.

Randy: Uncle Jack must have made this for us.

Jack: (Via communicator) This is the Dragon Extinguisher. Randy, grasp its handle and you’ll gain a new form.

Randy: Alright.

Randy grabbed the handle, and then something amazing happened. His armor turned crimson with an orange visor and resembled a fire fighting uniform.

Randy: Whoa. A new power-up. Now I feel like I can handle the Pyro.

Jack: (Via communicator) This is Gamer Fire, an upgraded Gamer Red form.

Pyro: (Gets up)

Randy: Gamer Fire?

Jack: Named because of its fire fighter theme.

Randy: Alright. Prepare to meet your maker Pyro.

Pyro: I already met my maker. He's back on the ship.

Randy: It's an expression. It means prepare to die.

The Pyro uses its flamethrower, but, Gamer Fire absorbs the flames harmlessly.

Pyro: What?

Randy: I can feel the power within me. I don't think I can be stopped now. Stopped from defeating you, Pyro.

Jack: (Via communicator) The Dragon Extinguisher has a Finisher Mode, Randy. Use it.

Randy: But what about the power box?

Jack: (Via communicator) Trust me.

Randy: Alright. You better stand back, guys.

The Dragon Extinguisher converts into a cannon-like mode with a handle at the front.

Dragon Extinguisher: Finisher Mode engaged (It starts charging)!

Pyro: Uh oh. I must get out of here.

The Pyro tried to escape, but there weren't many places for it to escape to. The blast slams it into its own respawn generator, destroying both.

Felicia: Whoa. Look at that.

Later, at the arcade...

Randy: Uncle Jack, I got to hand it to you. That new power-up you made was quite a genius idea.

Jack: Unfortunately, it’s only compatible with GamerRed.

Ash: That's not a problem for us, Mr. Lupeson.

Jack: The power-up uses a lot of energy and doesn’t last long. So, only use it in emergencies.

Randy: Will do, Uncle Jack.

Jack: With the success of the Dragon Extinguisher, I may consider making power ups for the rest of you.

William: Would you?

Jack: It’s a possibility.

William: Sounds great.

Then, Jeremy came in.

Jeremy: Ah, Gamerman, I'm glad that you are alright.

Randy: Jeremy, I haven't seen you in a while.

William: Who is that?

Randy: Jeremy is an old friend of mine. His dad used to work with my Uncle Jack. He knows about the process of the Gamerman powers.

Jeremy: Also, there's something on your head, Randy?

Randy: Something on my head? (Feels around on his head to find the camera) What is this?

Jeremy: That monkey boy from school got that on you while you were morphed. It's suppose to record you demorphing.

Randy: Then we better destroy the evidence before he gets it's back.

Kasumi: Actually, I've got a sneaker idea. :giggle:

Later, Jake and Justin had gotten the camera back and they had a TV set ready.

Justin: Ladies and gentlemen, I managed to get a recording of who the Gamermen really are. I was able to use this tiny camera to get a recording of the Gamermen as they de-transform. And now, it's time to find out who they are.

Justin put the tape into the TV set, but what showed up instead was a video of some Japanese cheerleading girls. Everyone laughed, and Jake and Justin were embarrassed.

Jake: Justin, you goofball!

Justin: But, I was sure this was the tape for the Gamermen revealing their identities.

Randy: Good one, Kasumi. :highfive:

Kasumi: Thanks. :)

Up at the villain's base, Gigalord was talking with Dr. Squeak.

Gigalord: Dr. Squeak, I think we need to do something about those stupid generator box monsters of yours. If they can't grow giant themselves, then we should build them their own giant robots to pilot.

Dr. Squeak: Their own giant robots? That will be complicated.

Gigalord: Well, until we have some built, no more of those monsters. Make normal monsters that can actually grow. Once we have these robots finished, then we can resume these generator box monsters.

Dr. Squeak: Yes, sir.

Meanwhile with Jeremy, he was looking at a photo of his dad along with Jack and Dr. Squeak.

Jeremy: I really would like to become a Gamerman as well.

He then went over to his drawer and got out what appeared to be a Gamerman changer.

Jeremy: Hmmmm. It might be a prototype, but could it really work?

To be continued...

I'm not good of making monsters but, here's mine:

Name: Thai-ger
Description: A tiger monster whose expert at Muay Thai. He can shoot fireballs in his fist. Have a one sided rivalry against Randy. Unlike most of the monsters, this one is an honorable fighter.
Inspiration: Sagat from Street Fighter
