Title: The Trials For A New Mech

One day at the lab, Randy, Jeremy, Vix, Headbot, and Jack were tidying some files. Jack hadn't sorted them in a while, so he was now doing so as he couldn't stand seeing how messed up everything was.

Jack: Thanks for helping me out with all of these guys.

Vix: It's no problem. After all that you've done for me, I'm willing to help you in any way I can. I just wish you could do more for me.

Randy: Still wishing to be flesh, Vix?

Vix:

Jeremy: Maybe someday you will. I don't know how, but I'm sure that it's possible.

Headbot: What do you think I would be if I was turned into flesh? I don't look like any animal species. Who ever heard of an animal that had a red head and a colorful body. Only a robot could be something like that.

Randy: Maybe you'd be whatever kind of animal those kids from the dragon show were. And whatever that hero from 700 years ago was as well.

Jeremy: Are you talking about a human, Randy?

Randy: Yes. Is that what they're called?

Jeremy: Yes. Not a lot of them exist in this world. Of course that human came from 700 years ago. I'm not sure if any still exist in the present.

(We of course know there is based on the story from three years ago, but our current heroes don't know this)

Headbot: I highly doubt I'd be that. Those creatures have noses and I don't have a nose.

Jack: Want me to make you one, Headbot?

Headbot: No thank you.

Vix: Hey guys, I found something.

Everyone went over to see what it was Vix had found.

Vix: It looks like a map of some kind.

Randy: What sort of map is it, Vix?

Jeremy: Hey, I remember this map. (Takes it from Vix) This is a map that shows a giant robot that Jack and my dad built years ago.

Jack: Oh yeah. I remember now. That was the first robot we ever built for the Gamermen.

Headbot: But would it still work in the present?

Jack: It's possible. You never know. We would just need to find it and find out.

Randy: (Looks at the map) But where is this map showing? This doesn't look like a place in Brooklyn, Uncle Jack.

Jack: That's because it isn't, Randy.

Randy: What?

Jack: This is located outside of Brooklyn. As far as I know, not many people travel to this place anymore. This is how we knew it would be safe.

Randy: Can we please go and find it?

Jack: I suppose it would be alright.

Vix: I'll call for the others to come and we'll explain the mission.

Later, when the rest of the Gamermen arrived in the lab, Jack and Vix explained what was happening.

Kasumi: So there's another giant robot we can use against Gigalord's monsters?

William: And you're saying it's quite powerful?

Jeremy: Well, not as powerful as the robots I've come up with, but still quite powerful.

Felicia: What makes you guys think it's worth traveling to get it?

Jeremy: Trust me. This robot has weapons that none of the other robots have. It might not be the strongest robot in the world, but it's quite a valuable one.

Ash: Well, I think it's worth the journey to find. What do you guys say?

Kasumi: I think it would be worth it.

Randy: Me, too.

William: Yeah.

Felicia:  Alright.

Randy: So where exactly is this location, Uncle Jack.

Jack: You know that food area at the edge of town? The start of the path is beyond that.

Randy: Got it. We may as well have our lunch there before heading out.

Jeremy: I'll stay here just in case Gigalord sends down another monster.

Randy: Thanks, Jeremy. And if we need you for anything, we'll be sure to call you.

Headbot: Good luck, guys.

Vix: Yeah. Good luck, guys.

William: Ha. We don't need luck. We are the Gamerman.

Up in the villain's ship, Ninjakuma came into the main room.

Ninjakuma: Boss.

Gigalord: What is it, Ninjakuma?

Ninjakuma: It's the Gamerman. They're all the way at the edge of town.

Darktail: Why is that a concern, Ninjakuma? If they're on the edge of town, we may not need to worry about them.

Dr. Squeak: She has a point, Ninjakuma.

Ninjakuma: But we do have to worry. As far as I know, they're going after a secret weapon.

Gigalord: A secret weapon, huh? Then I'd say we should deal with them. Squeak, create a monster that can deal with any sort of secret project.

Dr. Squeak: Oh sir, there is a monster I can make for that. But this one may take an hour to make.

Gigalord: What?

Dr. Squeak: This monster I have in mind is very strong. Much like bricks are.

Gigalord: Brick strong? How come you didn't create him sooner?

Dr. Squeak: I forgot about the concept until just now. But I will get to work on this monster straight away.

Gigalord: I suppose in the meantime, we can send Ninjakuma down to deal with those Gamermen.

Ninjakuma: Not to worry, boss. I'll get down there with some polygores and we'll wear the Gamermen down so much that they'll be too weak to fight when Dr. Squeak finishes his new monster.

Down on the ground, the Gamermen had found a table in the food town and had their food set up.

Ash: A lunch before a great adventure to finding this new robot? What are the odds.

William: Pretty good, I'd say.

Kasumi: It's too bad the sushi stand was out of sushi. The owner told me he was too busy to order anymore since he wants to get his restaurant repainted.

Randy: Well, he should get things prepared for the next delivery. I don't think he'd want to have a sushi stand that didn't have it's black paint.

Kasumi: Oh well. I guess I can't always get the lunch I want. But these tuna bites are a good alternative.

The Gamermen were enjoying their lunch when Ninjakuma came in with some polygores, scaring most people away. He soon made it to the Gamermen where nobody else was in sight.

Ninjakuma: Gamermen, how nice to see you all here.

Randy: Ninjakuma, what are you doing?

Ninjakuma: Nothing much. Just heard you were going after a secret weapon to defeat us. Well I'm here to make sure that doesn't happen. Polygores, attack!

The polygores then ran to the Gamermen.

Randy: Let's go.

They transformed and began to fight the Polygores using their different weapons.

Randy: Let's use the Gamernator to finish off Ninjakuma.

They called for the Gamernator and aimed it at Ninjakuma.

Randy: Ready, fire!

They blasted at Ninjakuma.

Ninjakuma: Ooh! Very impressive, Gamerman. Now to up this fight. Darktail.

Darktail then showed up.

Darktail: Yes, Ninjakuma?

Ninjakuma: I'd say we need to grow giant ourselves to deal with the Gamerman.

Darktail: Right. Hehe.

Darktail then used her lightning to make herself and Ninjakuma grow giant.

Both: Ahahaha!

Felicia: I didn't know Darktail could make herself grow giant.

Randy: We gotta call for Gamer Master.

Gamer Master then arrived and was formed.

Randy: Alright, Ninjakuma and Darktail. We're going to be settling this.

Darktail: Hahaha. (She charges up her hands with lightning then fired it at Gamer Master)

Gamer Master: (Gets hit)

Gamermen: Whoa!

William: That was some strike.

Ninjakuma then jumped at them with his sword.

Ninjakuma: Take this (Hits Gamerman).

Gamermen: AAAH!

Gamer Master kept getting hit about by Darktail and Ninjakuma for a while.

Randy: We better call for the Gamer Sword.

The sword then appeared in Gamer Master's hand and started attacking at Darktail and Ninjakuma for a bit.

Both: AAAH!

Ninjakuma: I think this has been enough. Darktail, return us to normal size.

Darktail then sucked up the lightning from her and Ninjakuma's bodies, reverting them back to normal size.

Gamermen: AH!

Ninjakuma: This isn't over, Gamerman.

Then both villains disappeared. The Gamermen got down to the ground, demorphed, then sent the Gamer mechs back to the arcade.

Felicia: They must be planning something big. But what?

William: We better find that new robot before they have a chance to finish it.

Randy: Right. The start of the path is this way. Let's hurry.

Up at the ship Ninjakuma and Darktail returned.

Gigalord: Good to see you managed to survive the battle. That should make the Gamermen so weak, they won't be able to tackle the real monster.

Ninjakuma: No worries, boss. The Gamermen will be unprepared for that.

Darktail: It felt good to fight Gamer Master ourselves for once.

Gigalord: Yeah, just don't expect me to permit you two to do that too often. I don't want you to end up like the monsters.

Ninjakuma: No worries. We were just the diversion.

Darktail: So how is that monster coming along, Doc?

Dr. Squeak: It's coming along just fine. I just need to get the hand all big and fat.

Ninjakuma: Big and fat?

Dr. Squeak: Of course. You see, this monster has one giant hand which he can use to break things. I used to call him the Rocking Wall Person. I got the idea from listening to the song and mishearing a certain line. The mishearing sounded like a great name. But I'll come up with a much better name than that.

The Gamermen were outside of the city and going through a forest.

Ash: Man, this forest looks so peaceful. I wish I knew this was here earlier.

Felicia: It's very far out of the city, Ash. I'm not sure we'd get many changes in seeing it.

Randy: I don't think we're the first people here.

William: Well of course we're not. Your uncle and Jeremy's dad had to have come this way before, didn't they?

Randy: I don't think they were the first either. Take a look at this instruments.

They saw a bunch of old and rusted up instruments laying in the forest.

Kasumi: I wonder who they belonged to?

Felicia: Maybe some sort of band that liked to practice so much, they came here because it was so quiet.

Ash: I wonder what band that was.

William: Should we take these back to the arcade?

Randy: I think whoever owns these instruments might come back for them.

Kasumi: I think that they would have done that already. Look at how old these things look. This guitar has a snapped string.

Ash: And these drums have holes in them.

William: And the buttons on this trumpet are all wonky.

Felicia: Doesn't look like anyone will be wanting these instruments. They're all garbage now.

Randy: But why would they leave them here? Were they too heavy to carry back into the city?

Kasumi: Maybe they always left them here.

William: Enough talk. Let's find the end of this forest and continue on.

Randy: Right.

As they were heading out, a large red monster appeared. This monster has one huge hand. Back at the arcade, Vix could see what was happening.

Vix: The Gamermen are in trouble. :(

Headbot: What?

Vix: A monster has appeared. (She makes a screen to show Jack, Headbot, and Jeremy) This is Brick Fist. A large monster that is as hard as a brick.

Brick Fist: So, Gamerman, I heard you were going after a new giant robot, but I have been sent to put a stop to you.

Brick Fist ran to the Gamermen and used his huge fist to punch them all and threw them into the trees.

Randy: Oh. That guy's fist is as hard as a brick.

William: You aren't kidding.

Randy: We have to try again. Weapons, guys.

The Gamermen each tried to use their weapons at Brick Fist, but Brick Fist took no effects.

Randy: Oh man. This guy is strong.

Brick Fist: It looks like this little good wolf couldn't blow this brick wall down, eh? Hahahaha.

Randy: I won't tolerate for that! Gamernator.

The Gamernator was then summoned and the Gamermen aimed it at Brick Fist.

Randy: Let's see how he can handle this. Ready.

All: FIRE!

The Gamernator blasted at Brick Fist, but he was still standing.

Brick Fist: Not even a scratch!

Ash: This guy is really tough. What'll we do, Randy?

Randy: We'll need to hurry to find that ship.

Then, they saw that at the end of the forest was an old rusty train.

Randy: Quickly, to that engine.

The Gamermen hurried over to the train and got into the cab.

Brick Fist: You can't escape, Gamermen (Begins running after them).

Randy: Quick, get some coal into the boiler.

Felicia: Are you expecting us to drive this train?

Ash: We aren't engineers, Randy.

Randy: That's not important right now. We've got to hurry.

They loaded coal into the boiler and started burning a fire to make the train start.

Randy: Kasumi, push the lever.

Kasumi: Right, Randy (Pushes the lever to make it start).

The engine then started moving down the line. It was approaching a bridge, but Brick Fist wasn't giving up. At the bottom of the bridge he began punching at the supports.

Brick Fist: The Gamermen will meet with a crashing defeat.

The bridge started to shake a bit.

William: Oh no. Brick Fist has started breaking the supports.

Kasumi: I'll get the engine to go back.

Randy: There's no time. We must hurry across the bridge. Kasumi, get the engine to go fast.

Kasumi: Faster?

Randy: Do you want to fall down with the bridge?

Kasumi: Alright.

Kasumi pushed the lever further to make the train go faster. It was soon on the other side just as the bridge collapsed.

Brick Fist: No! They got a way! Well, with the bridge out, they won't be able to get back home. So I guess it wasn't a total loss.

The Gamermen were relieved that they made it across the bridge, but also concerned that they wouldn't be able to get back to the other side.

Ash: How are we going to get back across?

Randy: Don't worry, Ash. We'll figure out how to get home. I'm sure there are other tracks we can take to get back.

William: Or maybe we won't need to use the train to get back. Surely this new robot should help us get back.

Felicia: What's important is that we're safe.

Kasumi: Yeah, but that monster could come back and when he does, we need to find a way to beat him since he is so strong.

Randy: We'll find a way, Kasumi. Don't worry about it. We always figure out how to win these battles. I wonder why there was a rusted up train sitting there anyway?

William: I think this was part of an old railroad that was abandoned years ago. I guess they just left this engine here. But I wonder why?

As the engine was rolling along, one of the wheels popped off.

Kasumi: Oh, I think that must be why. We better get off.

The Gamermen jumped out of the train just as more wheels came off and it derailed and fell apart.

Felicia: Phew. That was lucky.

Ash: That engine must have slowly began to fall apart, so the owner of the engine must have left it to keep it from coming apart completely.

Randy: I wonder why he never bothered to fix it?

William: Just let it be, guys. Anyway. I wonder how far from the robot we are now?

Kasumi: Guys, look.

Kasumi pointed over to an old fort.

Randy: That must be it. We made it.

They ran over to the fort and went inside.

Ash: Um, it's quite dark in here. Does anyone see a light switch?

Kasumi: There must be one around here.

Then, the lights turned on. Everyone turned around to see that it was William who turned the lights on.

William: Found the light switch.

Randy: Alright. Now to find that robot.

They looked around for a while to see if they could find any rooms where the giant robot could be kept, but found nothing.

Kasumi: I don't see anything, guys.

Felicia: I looked and looked, but no place for a giant robot to be.

Ash: Hey guys, look what I found.

William: Did you find the giant robot, Ash?

Ash: Just come and see.

Everyone came to Ash and what he found was a control room.

Randy: Whoa. What is this? It looks like some sort of control room.

William: I wonder what this room could be about?

Felicia: I wonder what this button could be for?

Felicia pressed the button, but no sooner had she pressed it that the ground began shaking.

Kasumi: Oh no. Felicia, I think you pressed a self destruct button.

Felicia: Oh no. I'm so sorry, guys!

Randy: We better find a way out before it explodes.

Ash: Wait, guys. Take a look.

In front of them, a window opened up.

Randy: Where did that window come from?

Then they noticed that the fort they were inside started changing shape. It took on a humanoid appearance. As it turned out, the fort itself was the new robot and the Gamermen had just found it's control room.

Randy: Guys, I think that the reason we couldn't find the new robot in this fort was because the fort was the new robot the entire time.

Jack's Voice: You're right, Randy.

Jeremy's Voice: Surprised by this?

William: You got us good, Mr. Lupeson.

Felicia: Clever disguising this robot as a fort.

Jeremy's Voice: What you are piloting is the Delta Gamer Robo. My dad and Jack built this as the first giant robot for the Gamermen.

Jack's Voice: And you guys had found it again.

Kasumi: And I think just in time, because guess who's back.

Everyone looked to see Brick Fist was back, this time in giant form.

Brick Fist: So, you found the new robot. Well no matter, I'll just destroy it.

Randy: We've got to figure out the mechanics of this thing. Let's sit down, guys. And take control.

Everyone sat down in the control seats and began piloting the Delta Gamer Robo. Delta Gamer Robo then made a punch at Brick Fist, knocking him back.

Brick Fist: AAAH! That was some hit.

Randy: Brick Fist must not stand a chance against Delta Gamer Robo. Now lets see what this fire power can do.

Delta Gamer Robo then aimed it's fingers at Brick Fist and began blasting at him.

Brick Fist: Oh! Oh! Those are painful!

Randy: Now to finish this. Delta Gamer Finish!

Delta Gamer Robo then jumped into the air and zipped at Brick Fist, causing Brick Fist to fall and explode.

Randy: Alright. Brick Fist is history.

William: Now. We gotta get Delta Gamer Robo back to the arcade so we can use it anytime we need it.

Up at the villain's ship.....

Gigalord: So your brick strong monster failed to defeat the Gamermen? And now they have yet another robo in their arsenal.

Dr. Squeak: Sorry about that, sir.

Just then, Darktail and Ninjakuma showed up eating marshmallow pies.

Gigalord: Where did you get those from?

Darktail: We found them in the kitchen.

Ninjakuma: And they're so good. Chocolate covered cookie and marshmallow. You should try one.

Gigalord: I'm a robot, I can't eat. Remember. Why where they some here?

Dr. Squeak: Oh, I got those for Brick Fist. I promised them to him if he could defeat the Gamermen. But he failed. So knock yourselves out.

Darktail & Ninjakuma: :? (Punches themselves in the faces and they fall to the floor)

Gigalord: Dr. Squeak, why did you tell them to hit themselves?

Dr. Squeak: I didn't. That was an expression meaning that they can have the marshmallow pies for themselves if they wish. I'll be sure to tell them that when they wake back up again.

Later at the arcade, Delta Gamer Robo we reverted back to fort form in the storage unit.

Ash: Just from looking at it from the outside, I never would have guessed this fort was the actual robot. We thought the robot was stored inside.

Jack: We had it take on that form so that anyone else who saw it would think it was a real fort.

Vix: And you had it accessible without the need of a key? You're lucky nobody who did find it went inside and messed things up.

Jack: Actually it did have a lock. Only someone with a Gamer Changer could get inside.

Kasumi: But we didn't even insert them into any keyholes.

Jack: They were automatic locks. You just needed to have them in order for the doors to open.

Randy: Ah. I see.

Jeremy: This robot is mighty fine, but there are still some others I'll need to be working on. Such as additional robots to go with the Gamermen's power-ups.

Inside the Delta Gamer Robo, there was a room that was slight open. Inside of it was a room and on a table inside, was what appeared to be another Gamerman Changer. So could this mean that there is a seventh Gamerman?

To be continued...
Title: The Trials For A New Mech.

Here is a chapter of Video Squadron: Gamerman where a new mech is introduced. Now there have been a few new mechs be introduced, such as in those TF2 chapters. But here is a new one outside of those. Now this chapter is recycled from an old movie idea that I had that I put together when listening to some songs from the Beatles and the Stones from when I was younger. I even put some references to those songs in this chapter. See how many of them you can find.

Cast of Characters:
Randy Wolfang/Gamer Red (A Wolf)
William Houndsworth/Gamer White (A Dog)
Kasumi Kittenata/Gamer Blue (A Cat)
Ash Hawkeye/Gamer Black (A Falcon)
Felicia Filly/Gamer Yellow (A Horse)
Jeremy Kitlinger/Gamer Silver (A Fox)
Vix (A Robot Fox)
Jack Lupeson (A Wolf)
Headbot (A Robot)
Gigalord (A Robot)
Dr. Morty Squeak (A Mouse)
Darktail (A Coyote)
Ninjakuma (A Gray Fox)
Brick Fist (Monster of the week)

Notes:
1. Jake and Justin do not appear in this chapter. Since they were outside of Brooklyn for this chapter, I couldn't think of anyway to fit them in.
2. Given as to the story idea was originally meant to be a movie, I now see that it may have been too short since I reused it for a Chapter of Gamerman. Although there were a number of scenes from the original story I cut out as I felt they were pointless. Although the original story was to take place over the course of two days and there would be a night scene, but this Gamerman chapter has the adventure take place in just one day.

This new mech got the Autobot Metroplex treatment, nice idea.
