Title: The Blasting Attack

Over at the arcade, Randy was playing a game of Squadron Stronghold 4.

Randy: EGH. Why won't this guy die? (His character gets headshot) Aww. It's game over for me. :(

William: Maybe you should try playing a different class, Randy.

Randy: A different class?

William: Yeah. I think that using that harder mode may not be a good idea. I suggest you try an easier mode.

Randy: Easy mode? Not my cup of tea, but OK. I'll try it out.

Randy started the game up again and set it to easy mode. Meanwhile at the ship, Dr. Squeak was going through a book that he had. He figured it would help him to think up an idea for the next monster to send down.

Dr. Squeak: Ah. This one should do. (The book he's holding shows something that resembles TF2 Scout)

Dr. Squeak went over to the computer and began designing the new monster. Soon, the monster was created.

Dr. Squeak: There we go. My newest creation. These guys were meant to be scout drones in a game, but they got rejected because they looked like they were ripping off some other game.

Gigalord: What is it called?

Dr. Squeak: Hitten Run Scout, sir. What he lacks in durability, he makes up for in speed.

Gigalord: Interesting. What sort of weapons does he use?

Dr. Squeak: His primary weapon is a baseball bat.

Gigalord: A baseball bat? Doesn't sound much like a weapon to me.

Just then, a pink polygore came in and Hitten bashed it with his bat.

Polygore: Ow!

Gigalord: OK. I guess it works as a weapon. Does he have anything more useful?

Dr. Squeak: He also has ranged weapons.

Hitten showed off a group of guns.

Hitten: How are these, my lord?

Gigalord: Excellent. I find those better to work out with.

A couple of polygores were in the room, then Hitten blasted them and they vaporized.

Hitten: (Boston Accent) Yeah! Imma force-a-natcha here!

Gigalord: Can you destroy the Gamermen for me?

Hitten: Heck, I'll do it fuh kicks. (Leaves)

Gigalord: Dr. Squeak, get some more polygores made. With the ones Hitten attacked, we're going to need more of them.

Dr. Squeak: Right away, boss.

Down at the arcade, Randy continued playing Squadron Stronghold 4. He was doing significantly better as the Scout class, which was what easy mode was called in this game.

William: You're doing good. Remember, Scouts are fast, but have the lowest health.

Randy: I got that. I just hope I don't...ugh...die this time.

William: Be especially careful of the Heavy. They're slow, but have highter health.

Randy: Right.

William: And be careful with Spies. They can look like anymore.

Randy: I've played through this game before, William. I know about the spies.

Then, Jack sent them a call.

Randy: (Pauses the game) What is it, Uncle Jack?

Jack: Vix has sensed something. Get here quickly.

William: Looks like it's game over.

They hurried to see Vix in the house portion.

Randy: What's the problem, Vix?

Vix: Gigalord sent a new monster to attack.

Kasumi: Another monster?

Ash: What sort of monster this time?

Vix: He's called Hitten Run Scout.

Felicia: Hitten Run Scout?

Vix then displayed a hologram of Hitten Run.

Jack: Hey, that kind of looks like something my former partner, Morty Squeak had designed for a video game we were making.

Vix: He's vandalizing public property around town.

Randy: Then we better get there fast.

And everyone headed out. At the park, the Gamermen were surprised to find Hitten nowhere in sight.

William: Where is he? I don't see him.

Randy: Just be on the look out. (A hand taps Randy's shoulder, he takes a look) Yes? (Sees that the owner of the hand was Hitten)

Hitten: S'up?

Randy: GAAAAAAH! (Falls on his back)

Kasumi: Randy!

The others went over to him.

Ash: You alright, Randy?

Hitten: (Makes a cocky look on his face)

William: That must be the monster.

Hitten: Hey, pop quiz. How long does it take to beat a moron to death? (Imitating a buzzer: Sorry, time’s up, you’re dead! (He hits each Gamerman with his bat)

All: Ow!

Kasumi: That hurt.

Randy: Let's transform!

(They transform and began to fight)

Hitten was pretty tough for the Gamermen to deal with. He managed to dodge them with double jumps and high speed.

Randy: Wait, what?

Felicia: He's just so quick.

Hitten: (Shoots at them, forcing them to demorph)

All: Argh.

Ash: He's just so powerful.

William: Randy, what'll we do?

Luckily, they didn't have to do anything at the moment. Hitten's gun suddenly started clicking like a real empty gun.

Hitten: What? Argh. I'mm all out of ammo. I'll need to reload. (Vanishes away)

Randy: If he was powerful enough to knock us out of our suits, we better get prepared for the next encounter with him. (Turns on the communicator) Vix, the monster got away. He was too powerful for us. We're heading back to the base.

Back with the villains, Hitten showed up to Gigalord.

Hitten: Boss, I ran out of ammo. They Gamermen were not powerful enough for me to beat, but then I ran out of ammo.

Dr. Squeak: Hold on.

Dr. Squeak went off to get Hitten reloaded with ammo.

Gigalord: Hitten is quite a powerful monster, but the running out of ammo thing is bad. Just be sure he's plenty loaded for the next encounter, Squeak.

Squeak: I got it, boss.

Back at the arcade, the Gamermen told Jack, Headbot, and Vix about Hitten.

Kasumi: And he's just too quick for us.

Felicia: And he caused us to demorph.

Vix: He may be quick, but he has low health.

Randy: Low health? Just like in the game.

William: Exactly. Vix, can we use that against him?

Vix: You certainly can.

Randy: Do we just have to keep hitting him as much as we can?

Kasumi: How do you expect us to do that when he moves around so much?

William: Maybe we could lure him into a trap to slow him down.

Vix: He's a cocky character. We can take advantage of his ego.

Felicia: But how can we lure him?

Vix: He seems to have a weakness for sandwiches.

Randy: Uncle Jack, can you make some sandwiches?

Jack: Sure thing. Though it may take a while.

Ash: I can help to make sandwiches.

Felicia: Me, too.

(About an hour later)

Randy: Alright, the sandwiches are finished.

Ash: They look so good, I want to have one right now. (Prepares to eat the one he's holding, but Kasumi stops him)

Kasumi: No, Ash. We need them for Hitten.

Ash: Right....(Puts the sandwich down)

Later in the park, the Gamermen had gotten a picnic table set up with the sandwiches.

Randy: That should do it. All we have to do now is wait for Hitten to show up.

They then saw Hitten approaching.

Randy: Here he comes. Let's hide.

They hurried over to some bushes and hid behind them. Hitten saw the picnic table and the sandwiches.

Hitten: Well, how about this? Sandwhiches. (Begins to eat them)

Then, the Gamermen blasted him while his back was turned, causing him to fall lifelessly to the ground.

Randy: Ah. Got him.

Hitten: (Disintegrates)

Ash: That monster was just too easy.

Felicia: But at least he's gone now.

Back at the villain's base, Gigalord saw what had happened.

Gigalord: Darktail, do you think you can enlarge him now?

Darktail: I'm not sure if I can if he disintegrated, sir.

Dr. Squeak: Uh, about that...

Gigalord: What now?

Dr. Squeak: This monster....can't enlarge.

Gigalord: WHAAAAAT? ERGH! (Shakes Dr. Squeak angerly back and forth) You idiot!

Darktail and Ninjakuma laughed at Gigalord shaking Dr. Squeak like that.

Ninjakuma: Hahaha. I guess this monster came out as a real fail, huh?

Darktail: Me, not being able to enlarge him? That's something new.

Dr. Squeak: But he does have one extra feature.

Gigalord: What's that?

Dr. Squeak: A respawn generator.

Gigalord: A respawn generator? That's perfect.

Dr. Squeak: The only way to permanently get rid of him is to destroy the respawn generator before destroying him.

Gigalord: That's genius. The Gamerman will never figure that out.

The Gamerman arrived back at the base, thinking they had won, but Vix had bad news for them.

Vix: Sorry guys, but the battle isn't over yet.

William: What now?

Vix: After you left, Hitton respawned himself.

Randy: As a giant?

Vix: No.

Ash: As what then?

Vix: His regular size, but hating you guys more.

William: This can't be good.

Felicia: Is there anyway we can beat him without him coming back?

Vix: I'm unable to determine a solution right now.

Kasumi: So what should we do now?

Vix: Maybe he still has his craving for sandwiches.

Felicia: But even if we do put out more sandwiches for him, how will we be able to find his weak point?

William: Maybe we could look over him while he's eating the sandwiches.

Randy: How would we do that without getting caught?

William: We have to do something.

Ash: Maybe we could take Headbot's head, tie it to some string, and hover it over Hitten to spy on.

Headbot: Oh no. I'm not doing that.

Jack: I agree with Headbot. Hitten could destroy him if he gets caught.

Vix: I have a better idea.

Headbot: Thank goodness.

Randy: What's your idea, Vix?

Vix: I'll tap into your helmets to analyze the monster remotely.

Randy: Ah. Good plan.

Everyone took off their helmets. (They didn't demorph after the last battle, BTW) and se tthem on the table for Vix.

Vix: Uh, do any of you know what it means to tap into something?

Gamermen: Uh....

Kasumi: Not a clue.

William: Yeah. Sweating a little...

Vix: You know how turning a dial on a radio changes the channel?

Randy: Yeah. So?

Vix: Turning the dial makes the radio tap into a different channel.

Ash: What does that have to do with our helmets?

Jack: Vix, I didn't put in any radio dials into their helmets. I didn't think they would need that.

Vix: There are communicators in the helmets, aren't there?

Randy: No, we have communicators on our wrists.

Vix: How about this? I'll modify the helmets?

Randy: Is that alright with you, Uncle Jack?

Jack: Hey, whatever it takes to beat this monster.

Vix: (Scans the helmets)

After she had done some scanning.

Felicia: Well, Vix?

Vix fired eye beams on the helmets, but they were not harmed.

Vix: There. That should do it.

The Gamermen put the helmets back on and see a "Heads Up Display".

Randy: What is this display thing?

Vix: They allow you to analyze details on enemies and the data is fed remotely to me.

Randy: Ah. Thanks, Vix. We should be able to get him now, guys.

Later at the park, Hitten was searching for the Gamerman.

Hitten: Alright, Gamermen. Where are you? (Sees a picnic table) Ooh. Another picnic table of sandwiches!

Hitten went over to the table, but before the Gamermen had a chance to shoot at him, he turned around and fired at them.

Gamermen: AAH!

Willia: H-how did you know we were coming?

Hitten: You seriously thought I'd fall for the same scam twice? You're even dumber than you look.

Ash: What now, Randy?

Randy: Hold on.

Hitten: I found out it was a scam when you hit me from behind.

Randy: Well guess what, it doesn't matter now. Thanks to the upgrade Vix made to our helmets, we don't need you to be lured in with sandwiches to learn your weakness.

Hitten: You know, you're pretty stupid telling me that. (Fires at Randy)

Randy: (Blasts at Hitten's blast) I was ready for that.

Hitten got blasted in the chest and fell lifelessly to the ground.

Hitten: Oof. (He disintegrates)

Kasumi: Is he going to be coming back?

Randy: Not if we can find the source of his regeneration first.

The heroes then regrouped.

Randy: Let's find it quickly. We don't have much time before he regenerates.

Vix then sent them a message.

Vix: Guys, judge by the analyze of Hitten, there is a respawn generator hidden in the park that he uses to respawn himself. If you can destroy it, you should be able to destroy him for good.

Randy: Okay. Now, where do we look?

Vix: I'm activating a beeping detector. It'll detect faster as you get closer.

Randy: Alright, guys. Let's follow the beeping sound.

They started to follow the beeping sound. The sound keep going faster as they got closer. Then, Kasumi stopped.

Kasumi: Wait, I have an idea.

Ash: What is that, Kasumi?

William: Shouldn't we just follow the beeping noises?

Kasumi: Why don't we trick him into destroying it himself?

Randy: Kasumi, how would we be able to do that?

Vix: Randy has a point, Kasumi. I think it would be easier if you just destroyed it yourselves.

Kasumi: Come on guys. Trust me. Please?

Felicia: I trust her if everyone else does.

Ash: I suppose I do.

William: Alright.

Randy: But first we must find the generator. Let's keep looking.

Soon, they managed to get to the generator. It was deep under the ground.

Randy: In order to get the generator out from the ground, we'll need to dig. Let's get the shovels and start digging.

Ash: We can't dig here. This is the park.

Randy: We'll cover the hole after we are done. Alright?

Felicia: Alright. But if the police catch us, we're blaming you.

Randy: Deal.

It wasn't long before Hitten showed up again.

Hitten: Alright, Gamermen. I'm ready for you this time.

He then saw Kasumi up ahead waving.

Kasumi: Over here, Hit Head.

Hitten then blasted towards Kasumi. Much to his surprise, Kasumi got out a pan and made the bullet reflect away, then it went towards Ash, who also reflected it.

Ash: Felicia. (Aims it to her)

Felicia: William. (Aims it to him)

William: Randy. (Aims it to him)

Randy: Generator. (Aims it at the generator)

Just as planned, the bullet reflected off of Randy's pan, and hit the generator, causing it to blow up.

Hitten: What? What happened?

Kasumi: This is what happened? (Shows the damaged generator)

Hitten: What? You tricked me. I've got to get out of here. (Just then, a cage falls onto him) What the? Where did this come from?

Felicia: We also got a cage ready for you.

Randy: Time to finish you off for good. Blasters guys.

Everyone got out their blasters and aimed it at Hitten. They then fired, then Hitten got hit, fell down, and exploded.

Kasumi: And that's that.

Up at the villain's base, Gigalord was furious.

Gigalord: You fool, Dr. Squeak. You shouldn't have given Hitten a weak point. That's got to be one of the lamest monsters you've made. Be sure that at least the next monster can be enlarged.

Dr. Squeak: Yes sir. :(

Over at the park, the Gamermen had filled up the whole they got the generator out of. Making it look as if nothing had happened.

Ash: That's good that we managed to fill the whole back up before anyone saw us.

Randy: I bet Hitten thought we would follow the rules and not dig up the generator, but this was one instance were we had to break the rules to save the day.

William: But at least we cleared up our mess.

Kasumi: It's also good that Vix had enhanced our helmets. That tracking had really worked.

Felicia: And your plan to make Hitten destroy his own generator was genius, Kasumi. :)

Randy: Alright, guys. Let's head back to the arcade. I've had enough shooting games for one day.

William: Agreed.

And so they headed back to the arcade.

Hitten is based on Scout, who is Bostonian. No wonder he has this Boston accent.
